Prynne Chapel in Plymouth is launching a new programme of print
sessions under my mentorship and tuition.

The sessions are designed for printmakers to get together and to develop their practice in a creative and stimulating environment. The sessions will suit printmakers who want to 'dig a bit deeper' whilst developing their print practice.

The emphasis of the sessions will be about discussing individuals ideas and how to go about realising them in print (which could be in a variety of processes) hence a reasonable level of technical ability and experience is required.

Prynne Chapel has a great selection of intaglio, off-set litho & relief presses as well as a number of other printing possibilities.See their full kit list here

It is envisaged that the sessions and overall programme will ‘write itself’ as it progresses - responding to the needs and ideas of those attending. Experiments and demonstrations will be fused with ongoing studio work.

Thursday or Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm. (tbc depending on responses).
£28 per session with a preferred minimum booking of 5 sessions.

“Knowledge of process is a good springboard from which to develop ones own ideas. Process in itself, however, can be a bit of a dead end - so the trick is explore a balance of these things whilst keeping a good eye on ones own aesthetic and artistic aims.” RM2015
